The Road Home of Dane County
Frank Beverage Group has been helping to make a difference in the lives of homeless families in Dane County by working with a nonprofit organization, The Road Home of Dane County. The Road Home is committed to developing long-term relationships with homeless families with children that can change lives. They work with families, not only to relieve the immediate crisis of homelessness, but also to build skills, resources and relationships that set the stage for long-term success. Each family works closely with a professional case manager to secure housing, employment and other resources such as childcare, health/mental health care, and children’s educational and recreational programs. They have several different housing programs including an emergency shelter network that provides shelter through a network of area churches and synagogues. Frank Beverage provides the use of a truck each Sunday to move the families’ cots and belongings from one congregation to another. Volunteer drivers from Frank donate their time to drive the truck.
